The Wonderful Story of Stone
Monschein Industries selects only the finest stone for use in our countertop applications and fireplace surrounds. These stone products are available in two general categories - Natural Stone and Quartz Surface. Each has its own characteristics in variety, color, density, hardness, use, suitability, and manufacturing.
NATURAL STONE is just as it sounds. It is mined from the earth, and as such, offers an amazingly wide variety of types, colors, textures and composition. The most commonly used stone varieties are granite, marble, limestone, onyx and travertine. Each would have their own interesting differences in look, feel durability and suitability for particular use.
