From a Chunk of Stone to the Beauty of Your Home

The process begins with our state-of-the-art laser template technology, which ensures exact measurement of the space in which the stone will ultimately be installed. This not only insures perfect installation in the designated space, but also saves money and time through the elimination of measurement errors.

With our CNC (Computer Numeric Control) technology, fabrication time has been dramatically reduced. This technology allows us to precisely control all types of fabrication machines we use, including saws, polishers and routers. Our CNC futuramachinedsc equipment makes the shaping of intricately designed parts fast and simple. What used to take weeks now can take place in a matter of hours. This saves money which is passed on to our customers via better prices.

Once the shape and size of the item to be made is confirmed, these dimensions are exported to a computer-assisted design program (CAD). Here the designers modify such items as edge profiles, location and size of holes for sinks, faucets and cooktops.

Now the fun starts!

Computerized arms move the selected stone slab to the CNC machine. Here a series of saws (or water jets) and routers cut the slab to the correct dimensions, and we WorkersDSC2542 mean correct. We then cut the specified holes and shape the edges. The shaped countertop (or other item), is then moved to the polishing machine where polishing pads grind the surface to the desired finish.
